About
I am an educator, scholar-practitioner, and disability policy advocate whose work connects inclusive education, lived experience, and systems change. I prepare educators to teach for success promoting Universal Design for Learning and constructivist approaches to teaching and learning.My advocacy focuses on promoting Self-Direction, expanding Home-and Community-Based Services, and supporting policies that increase choice and autonomy for people with disabilities and their families. Across teaching, research, public speaking, and community leadership, my work focuses on transformational teaching and creating meaningful change.
