About
I am an art educator, scholar-practitioner, and disability policy advocate whose work connects inclusive education, lived experience, and systems change. At The College of New Jersey, I prepare future art educators and promote creative, accessible approaches to teaching and learning.My advocacy focuses on self-direction, home- and community-based services, and the policies affecting people with disabilities and their families. My doctoral research explores how parents become—and sustain themselves as—advocates after educational entitlements end at age 21. Across teaching, research, public speaking, and community leadership, I work to turn knowledge and experience into meaningful change.
